How Long Do You Use Your Bath Towel Before Washing It? 1

1. If you had to choose to not ever wash your bed sheets again or not wash your bath towel ever again....?

Bath towel, I can always just air dry, but I refuse to sleep on nasty sheets

3. Alright, what did you do with my bath towel?

Sorry, I am using it at the present, come and get it! Well, then I will be cold, well, for a while anyway.

4. How long do you use your bath towel before washing it?

I put it in the laundry as soon as I finish using one and hang a fresh one in it's place

5. POLL- pick an asnwer-should someone use bath towel on the floor carpet?

I would use a towel thats not going to be used on me. I agree, you do carry in all kinds of gross things on your shoes. Thats why everyone should take off their shoes at the door. That would be alot cleaner. (now,. ...if I could only get my family to do just that)

6. is it alright to use the same bath towel more than once after bathing?

well I use mine 2 or 3 times then I put it in the hamper! I mean you just got done getting clean not like your making the towel dirty!!!

7. After using your bath towel do you wash it or use it again?

I tend to wash mine after every use. Its a habit i picked up from my childhood. I dont think its necissarily wrong or gross to use it more than once so long as it isnt bunched and smelly. But even if your just drying a clean body you are still getting excess soap, dry skin, and even leftover dirt onto the towel. So i would say 2-3 times max for reuse.

8. Is it more green to use a bath towel or several paper towels to wipe down gym equipment?

Of course a towel. The easiest way to be green is reuse and by using a towel you can reuse it. Once you use paper towel sure you can recycle it but remember to produce paper there is a lot of energy used so why waste a lot of paper, when you can use one towel and then reuse it? Hope this helps!

9. How many times can you use a bath towel before it is "dirty"?

I wash mine at least once a week. Sometimes twice, but generally once

10. Is it better to use a bath towel over and over or should you use it once and wash it??

In our house, we use it for about 3-4 days and then it goes in the dirty clothes. I always thought that we should use it once and then get a another one. My husband is the one who "trained" me to use it more than once.

11. how often do you wash your bath towel?

I use a new towel every day and I wash a load of towels once a week

12. Which is more sanitary, bath towel or loofah?

Loofahs are not gross and germy- just rinse it out after you use it and try to hang it up to dry after you use it. They are great for making your skin soft! They need to be replaced about every 3 months, or when they start to fall apart and get really rough. It's always good to kinda rinse off before you use them though.

13. how many times do you use the same bath towel?

Many times! It only gets wet - not dirty! Because I know how to clean myself in the shower!

14. How many times do you use the same bath towel?

change your towel every 6 months

15. Why does a bath towel start to smell bad?

No, hopefully you rinse the soap off. But it will collect dead skin cells, bacteria, & fungi or mildew.

16. Is it better to use a bath towel over and over or should you use it once and wash it??

I usually use a towel 2 times before I wash it

17. Beach Towels vs. Bath Towels: What's The Difference?

I know what you are thinking. I've been equally guilty in thinking that a towel is a towel and that there's no difference between a beach and a bath towel. Fundamentally, a towel is a towel but the purpose of use makes all the difference. For instance, a hand towel is different from a kitchen towel and so is a face towel, are not they? Guess what, when it comes to a beach towel there is a little more to it. It is a special one, just like the beach itself. It is fun! What makes sit super cool is their flamboyant design but hey, there is another technical aspects of it too that makes them actually quite the opposite of bath towel. Get ready for the fun facts. If you are fairly observant, you will probably have noticed that beach towels are actually bigger and longer - by about 30 centimeters. Why's that? Because while they still need to be able to keep you clean and dry, a beach towel has a higher purpose in life: fashionable accessory. The function of a product and the environment it will be used in usually, informs the manufacturing process, and the beach towel is no exception. Inevitably, it will be stomped into the sand by well-intentioned feet, and exposed to salt water or chlorine. Often a beach towel will dry without being thoroughly rinsed to remove the salt, sand, and chlorine. Perhaps by now you are beginning to see that a beach towel is not just a towel. In fact, it is far more than a towel. It is a blanket, a tanning bed, a makeshift pillow. It is a fashion accessory, a statement and the solitary barrier between you and the sandy beach below your back. With so much to do, it's no wonder there's usually more fabric than a normal towel! Another key difference between a bath towel and a beach towel is in their appearance. Viewed out of context, the most immediate way you would likely recognise the difference between the two, is the stark colour difference. A towel is made to complement the environment it's found in. Bathrooms, for all of their variations, usually invite someone to relax and decompress. Whether this is by creating an open, airy space, a modernist monochromatic masterpiece or a room with rich, deep tones the intention is the same. The beach meanwhile is bright, with stark colour contrasts of yellows, blues, and greens it invites bold expressive feelings and evocative patterns. Simply put, you would likely lose the plush beige bath towel you frantically stash in your beach bag against the soft yellow sand. And you would give yourself a headache with an attention-grabbing red, orange and yellow towel in the bathroom. As with everything else, in this day and age, there is a beach towel for everyone. All I want in life is a bathing box in Brighton with a chilled glass of sauvignon blanc and matching Cabana Striped beach towel for me and the girls, while some people need a tasselled red monstrosity towel to shout "I'M AT THE BEACH" or if you are anything like my aunt you are preaching the 'Aztec tribal' right now. Similarly, you could take a step into a black-tiled wonderland, with light brass effects that were wearing a plush off gray Royale bath towel and more than likely faint at the mere stylishness of it all. At this point in the beach/bath game, we are going to need a bit of reader involvement. I will get you to grab both towels and give them a good once over. Inspect the towels side by side and you will notice they differ in thickness, not just colour. Bath towels tend to be very thick as absorbency is the name of the game in the Bathroom. Obviously, you want to leave the bathroom as dry as possible. Not to mention while a bath or shower could keep you occupied for a heavenly hour, I find the drying off process requires considerably more haste. But getting dry at the beach or pool is less of a priority. Sure, you will need to get out of the water eventually and when you do you will need a towel, not a picnic blanket. But a picnic blanket has a single use while a beach towel is primarily used as a barrier between your body and the ground. Being made from a thinner fabric, beach towels are less absorbent than their bathroom-dwelling cousins, however, this also means it will dry very quickly in the sunlight and be nice and light to carry around in your bag. No, we are not asking you to pick a side. Inside or outside, up or down, top or bottom. A towel needs two sides. Argue all you want on this point, but believe us - we've tried developing a single sided towel and there's a reason the design has not changed much throughout history. This may rock the very foundation of your core belief system, so sit down: A beach towel is not necessarily the same on both sides. One side is more absorbent, designed to dry the body after the surf. Meanwhile, the other side is designed not to get soggy and clogged up with sand. The construction is exactly the same on both sides they have just been treated differently. At Canningvale, we have Velour towels; velour is the side that you lay flat on the ground, velour is the side that has been "veloured" which basically means the terry loops have been shaved off, leaving the towel feeling soft, un-absorbent and sand-repellant. The reverse side has the full terry loops which are absorbent and better for drying off with. Run your hand over that brand-new bath towel and you will find its soft, absorbent and luxurious. But get it soaking wet at the beach and after just one or two uses, it will be stained, sandy and smelly. The materials of a beach towel, on the other hand, are designed specifically to resist these side effects. So for your next trip to the beach, do yourself a favour, and browse Canningvale's large beach towels, ready and equipped to do the job right. And get wrangling on those bath towel sets, so they stay exactly where they belong, looking beautiful in your bathroom. Also checkout how to make your beach towels last.
