I bought what promised to be the same kind of alternative to the cushions I was used to from Marriott hotels of all kinds. This pillow was made on the Pacific coast and was surrounded by standard pillows. The package had the same consistency as the cheapest pillows I could buy at Walmart for a fraction of the price.

When it comes to cushions, it is possible to buy feather hybrids or fluffy plush cushions that offer a similar level of comfort for a little less money. W Hotels went the hidden spring route, while Westin Hotels & Resorts went with pillows with top cushions. As a result of a more restful sleep, their guests were able to buy a mattress, mattress pad, mattress and bed.

Hotels have many pillows on their beds, from four standard rectangular pillows to several decorative pillows. The Hyatt brand's signature bed set is available in sizes from Twin to Twin XL to King. There are four comfort covers, each with its own style of bed linen that eliminates the traditional bed frame and dust pockets that sit on the base. S Serenity Bed Set includes bed, mattress, duvet, duvet cover, sheet set and a pair of pillows or pillow protectors.

Bedding, plush pillows, duvets and duvets create the ultimate peace and quiet. Hyatt launched its Grand Bed with Sealy Posturepedic blankets and mountain cushions at the Grand Hyatt New York in 2003 to great fanfare, and the rest is history. Radisson Sleep had a range of beds with bedside controls to adjust mattress strength, air chamber technology and feather pillows, which arrived in selected hotels in 2006. Crowne Plaza went one step further by upgrading its beds and introducing the Sleep Advantage Program with sleep-promoting CDs, air conditioning earplugs, eye masks and relaxation zones on certain floors.
