What Is Better for the Enviornment to Use Cloth Napkins Or Paper Napkins?

I would have to say for the sake of the environment it would be better to use cloth napkins.. Just buy them all in white and launder them with your towels weekly.... I clean a home improvement store and instead of using paper towels to clean surfaces.. Bathroom, breakroom, training room, windows, counters/desks.. etc... I've switched to "shop" rags which I wash weekly.... Normally, I would go through a normal roll of paper towels a day but, now I just reuse the rags... I launder them with BLEACH in a large load once a week.... ** I also use seperate ones for the bathroom/breakroom etc.... The shop rags cost $10 per box and you get around 25 white cotton rags like t-shirt material.... When 8 rolls of paper towels cost around $8-$10.... I would use that up in a week...! I get about 2-3 months from the shop rags...

2. My whole apartment is a mess. Where should I start?

its simple start in the living room with a garbage bag in one hand and start throwing away trash, papers, ads etc. then pick up all the clothes ( keep a laundry separate in you laundry room if you have a laundyroom) separate them. worrie about washing them later. pick up any dishes glasses etc. and put them in the kitchen. vaccum then dust. next the kitchen same process start with throwing garbage old food etc. out then wash dishes wipe down counters tables and cupboards. last sweep and mop floor. then hit bathroom it's a givin what you need to do there bleach and ajax. then throw on a load of laundry. next the bedroom same here start with throwing things away( hopefully you already cleared any dishes out of here before you did the kitchen. you will find once you do a good cleaning you will only have some picking up to do a few dishes. do a loud of laundry everyday so it does not pile up. you just need to get yourself into a routin and it will be easy from there.

3. How do I go about getting my dream home custom built?

next month will be 4 years since my custom designed home was completed. my wife and i met with two builders. the first was a "cookie cutter" type. when we showed the salesman our rough sketch of what we wanted he said, " we can do that..... but we can not move that wall more than 6 inches..... no, we can not do that at all", etc. the next guy was a hands-on salesman as well as a site foreman for a custom home builder. first thing he said to us was "show me what you want and we will build it for you." he had an in-house graphic artist lay out a floor plan as well as a computerized drawing of what our home would look like. then he gave us some estimates on building costs per square foot and estimates for allowances for fixtures. we then went to Home Depot and other kitchen and bathroom companies to get pricing on how much it would cost for us to buy what we wanted and compared the expenses to the allowances the builder gave us. this then gave us a good idea of how much the final cost would be. so first i would suggest making a rough floor plan for the home of your dreams and shop around (as well as ask around) for a reputable custom home builder to make a preliminary appointment to meet and discuss costs. good luck!

4. Fostering a mother cat and her kittens... My other cat took one of the kittens.... HELP!!?

Put mum and kitten in closed off room and let mum out for toilet etc or pop a litter tray in there. Like laundry or bathroom Maybe try this for a week so at least the kitten can get it's strength up. If cookie tries to steal her again repeat private room maneuver. Take kitten off cookie (scruff her and put a towel around her if need be(maybe two man operation),Motherly instincts maybe. But for the sake of the kitten you need to be harsh. this kitten needs your other cats milk to LIVE or it will DIE) and put cookie outside for the moment and put the kitten up to foster mums teet, sometimes you have to squeeze out a little milk so the kitten knows it's there. Kittens always squeak when you take them from 'mums' warmth in my experience. She is probably copying what your other cat is doing. The kittens should be your your number one (helpless) priority above all your cats for the moment. I do not think your other cats are jealous and I am sure they will get over it, if your worried maybe get them all a tasty treat!!
