I dont see the harm in using the baby bumpers? I used them on all my kids. as far as the litle comforter that comes with the bedding sets, i use to lay my babies on top of it and put a lighter blanket to cover them with because i felt the comforter was too heavy duty

I dont suggest hanging it on the crib, as you may never know if it will ever just slide down and cover your baby's face or body, you can put it away for now, does not matter how cute it looks baby's safety comes first, and you can start using it as soon as you feel your baby is ready, because they all grow so different just do it when you think is best for your baby

A light purple (like the color of the backboard.) ;D well white and black go with everything so you could use those colors but a light pink usually goes with everything so yup

I really like it! It's a lot nicer than the standard car themes, which to me are not very "baby" they are more "little boy." The bedding you posted looks very sweet and baby, but not at all girly

You are so right! You might want to invest in a couple different crib sheets for various weather. I bought a couple of cotton almost flannel ones for colder months and the rest were normal crib sheets. Also get a couple mattress covers. They help with clean ups when they do make a mess in the bed, plus it keeps your baby from being right next to the "plastic" bed material.
