Common problem I have found. To get round this I have sewn 1/2" elastic across each corner of the fitted sheet. You then put the sheet on the bed and kind of slip the elastic over the corners of the mattress. This way, the sheet aint going anywhere and does not fall off if the sheet is not quite deep enough. Make sure you put enough elastic on though or it can be like getting a condom on a well endoured man!!
