Everything goes with wood dear. That bedding set is especially cute, but please, do not put the bumper pads in the crib with your baby, tied in or not. Bumper pads are actually very dangerous. Babies have gotten tangled in them and died of suffocation. Please, do not put the bumper pads in, no matter how cute

Go on Ebay and search for completed auctions. That will give you an idea of what they are selling for. But it does not sound 'custom' to me. Where are the options?

This is not really about bedding sets. It's about control. Your husband is siding with his family about some stupid little thing, making his wife feel inferior. What a nice guy. I would have kept the one I liked, returned MIL's, and said to my husband, "It's just a damned bedding set, it is not important in the grand scheme of things. We should just be hoping & praying that our baby is healthy, not fighting over something so trivial. " Maybe he's nervous about being a father and is taking it out on you

I dont see the harm in using the baby bumpers? I used them on all my kids. as far as the litle comforter that comes with the bedding sets, i use to lay my babies on top of it and put a lighter blanket to cover them with because i felt the comforter was too heavy duty

The bedding set you asked about is a duvet cover and two pillow shams. I guess it depends on where you live and the temperature you like for your bedroom, but a duvet cover holds your sheets and blankets to make bed-making easier. Do you "dress" your bed heavily in summer? I just use a top sheet and a light blanket, so I would not want the added weight of a duvet cover. It's a good neutral color and the thread count is good - 300 TC. I like the flanged pillow shams, but again, I would not sleep on these. To me, they are for "show" only. I stack my pillow shams and throw pillows on the floor at night and sleep on pillows in pillow cases. I am not sure what you are asking, but for summer, I am not sure you want a duvet set?? Sorry.

13. What to do with the blanket that comes with the crib bedding set while baby is still a newborn?

I put it sideways across the cot as a bed sheet (on top of the bed sheet). I found it offered an extra layer of comfort and seemed cosier to lay on. Made my little one look really snug. Its important that its secured and under the mattrass hence why i placed it lengths ways.
