Stop smacking them, just use the water spray. They will eventually grow out of it (especially if the curtain pole falls down on them when they try)

Target. You can either shop online or walk in the front door of their store. Lowes and Home Depot are another option in their Window Covering departments

3. Can I put a curtain rail on the top of wooden window frame itself? Or does it then need to go on ceiling?

Wooden window. By the way, if you have not already bought the rods, you can buy rods that go inside the window frame. No nails/screws needs. There is a spring inside the rods that holds them in place. I bought mine at Walmart. Get a clerk to help you.

Try the BHV (Bazar de l'Hotel de Ville), big department store specialized in furnitures and house amenities on rue de Rivoli in front of the Hotel de Ville (same metro station). You may find it at 5 as it is the Soldes it's a mythical DIY shop (go to the basement, it's a must see), may come in useful if you are settling. take metro line 6 to etoile, then line 1 to Hotel de ville.

Well, why would you want a curtain color if you have zebra curtains? I will just assume that it does not exist. Green walls, black vail, I am thinking a white curtains

Hi - I used to have that color scheme, actually, and I put up lovely Grey Vertical Blinds. Of course, a nice shade of grey Curtains would work as well, and then you've got modern, and a bit of art-deco but not too much..:) - And, if you had light grey sheers in the back, this would all lighten up the room as well. :) Good Luck! :)

12. Curtain and Rod hanging question.?

You should come out from window edge 2" to 3" inches. When a window is installed into an opening, it is framed out with two, two by fours. on each side and on the bottom , Across the top will be a header made of two, two by sixes. The window is put in the opening and levered. it is then attached with nails through the window casing to the two by fours on each side, and top and bottom. If it is a medal window it is attached all the way around the window casing, this casing will have a flange all the way around. A medial window is installed from the outside. so you should have no hard thing around the window inside. I always try and use Molly bolts in sheetrock, sometimes you will miss the two by fours on the side of the window. A nail just wont hold in sheet rock, unless you hit wood behind it. If the trim around the window is very wide you can also attach the hangers to it, with nails or screws
